Skin does not change in a week and colour does not settle in a day. A sequence is built backwards from your date, so each thing happens while it still has time to work. Eight weeks is ideal. Six is comfortable. Under three, we work with what the skin will give us.
We read the skin and the hair before anything is booked. A patch test is taken now if colour is coming, because it has to sit forty-eight hours and nobody wants that conversation in the last week.
Anything that changes the structure of the hair happens here. It settles, it softens, and if it is not quite right there is still time to correct it.
Skin does not turn around in one sitting. Two or three, spaced, do what one cannot — and any reaction shows up now rather than on the day.
Full body waxing two weeks out leaves time for the skin to settle. Done in the last few days it can still be red in photographs.
The main sitting of whichever sequence you chose. Hair, skin, hands and feet in one long afternoon, close enough to the day to still be fresh.
Nothing new is tried this close. Only the things that are meant to be done at the last moment, by someone who has already seen your skin twice.
We start early and we do not rush. The trial has already happened, so this is execution, not decisions.
